Our investors are able to view the performance of their individual portfolio by logging on to their password protected on-line portfolio. Additionally, we have created our own index to enable you to assess the overall performance of the wine market; The APM Fine Wine Index©.
Our index tracks the price movements of the fifty most important wines in the investment market, weighted to reflect the significance of each, across 12 vintages.
The data is formed of the average market price of each component wine from any vintage in which it was produced over the last 12 years; i.e. younger wines with the longest forward yield curve and the greatest availability, thereby representing those most frequently traded and of greatest significance to the investment market.
Meaningful data
We believe that our index is the most meaningful measure of the true overall performance of the market as experienced by the private investor. Whilst many indices are based on trade-to-trade transaction prices, auction results or are limited to a narrow market selection, our data is drawn from a vast range of real-time live offers as posted on price comparison website wine-searcher by over 40,000 merchants and vintners.
