Ausone 2006
The wine lovers’ wine. Ausone 2006 is one of the four wines ranked Premier Grand Cru Classé (A) in the Saint-Émilion region of Bordeaux. The Chateau is located on the right bank of the Bordeaux wine region near the town of Saint-Emilion. Considered one of the best estates in Bordeaux, if not the world, this estate produces minute quantities each year.
Ausone 2006 received 98 points from Parker in when last tasted back in 2009. Calling it one of the handful of candidates for wine of the vintage.
